Description: Students must use 1-part molds to cast 350 modeled clay objects. These objects must be arranged to create a composition that is thematically related to the objects they cast.

Description: Students must hand build a functional ceramic container. They must use 3-4 different textures and create a sculptural handle.

Description: Students must make a hand-sewn bust of a real person (living or dead). They must use color, pattern and volume to articulate something specific about their subject.

Description: Students must make a wood container using laminated plywood. The form of the container must be thematically related to the objects it contains.

Description: Students must create a 1:1 scale replica of their shoes using only wire.

Description: Students must use planar cardboard to create a mask that represents an alter-ego or persona.

Project: Plaster stack
Description: Students must create a stack of cast objects using simple molds made from cardboard or balloons. Objects must have negative spaces cast or carved into them.
